Making an effort to look good is the key.
Simply put, if you are too lazy to iron your blouse, don't bother to whine that you wish you looked THAT charming or pretty.
A great amount of thought and work is required to look like a million dollars. It may sound cliche, but really, "there are no ugly women, only lazy ones" - as stated by the late beautiful and powerful Helena Rubinstein.
Look for inspiration from all round you; people that you meet, that you see online and in magazines. The more thought you put into your look, the more quickly you will find your stylish self!
Styling can be technical. There are fashion rules. There is no right or wrong in dressing, but it's a good idea to listen to what THEY have to say before YOU DO IT YOUR WAY. Styling is like everthing else in the world, the more you practice, the better you will become.
Having said that, style is not about designer brands. Dressing in designer brands show your status but not your sense of style. Wearing a totally branded look can be boring, on the other hand when you start mixing and matching, it gets your brain to think! And then, the fun begins. Then, we SEE you, not the brand.
Style -- is not about being in line with fashion trends, but it is your attitude, it is you! Hence first, you need to find out who you are (within), then the clothes that you put on will tell the world who you are, without you having spoken a word.
