ABOUT ME
ONG SOO HUA,

In 2016, Ong Soo Hua underwent a significant career transition, opting to embark on a path as a personal stylist and image consultant. Her journey commenced with the completion of Professional Makeup Artist training, followed by specialised training as a Fashion Stylist at Istituto Marangoni in London. She further honed her expertise by pursuing a Professional Image Consultant certification from ByFerial Image Consultant Training in Kuala Lumpur. Continuously driven to enhance her proficiency, she pursued additional certification programs, including Image Essentials training from the Academy of Image Mastery in Singapore, as well as The Art of Personal Style and Colour Masterclass from The StyleCore Academy. Furthermore, she holds certifications as a Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming from the American Board of NLP and as a Body Language Trainer from the Oxford Institute of Body Language.
Soo Hua earned a Malaysian Skills Diploma (DKM) in the Image Consultancy Programme, endorsed by the Department of Skills Development Malaysia (JPK). Additionally, she is a certified trainer recognised by the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRDC) in Malaysia. Soo Hua is also a published author of books titled STYLE BASICS For Every Woman and STYLE BASICS Colour Palettes.

MY STYLE
PHILOSOPHY
I discovered my path in fashion by attending fashion schools, where I learned that styling is a skill that can be acquired. There exists a plethora of fashion theories to delve into, particularly beneficial for individuals like myself who lack an inherent sense of style. Following this, it's crucial to maintain a perpetual sense of curiosity, drawing inspiration from various sources such as people you encounter, Instagram, fashion literature, or books, in order to craft outfits that resonate with your personal taste. However, it's essential to establish a solid foundation first, mastering the basics.
To echo the words of Pablo Picasso, "Master the rules like a professional so that you can bend them like an artist".
